3DS Error when using Credit Card / Debit Card to fund Cash Account
You are trying to fund your Prime Trust cash account and receive a "3DS" error code.
Prime Trust's fraud protection measures generate the "3DS" error when they are unable to authorize the card for use in funding the account.
Some things that may cause this error:
- You are or have been traveling and your IP address is different from your location.
- Your credit card issuer does not permit the card to be used for this type of transaction. Some financial institutions consider Prime Trust to be "crypto" related and do not allow the transaction.
- Your credit card issuer does not permit the card to be used for cash advances in this manner. This charge is treated as a cash advance and has fees associated with its use.
There may also be other issues detected by Prime Trust's fraud protection system. It is unlikely that Prime Trust will approve the card for use. You can check with your bank/card issuer and try to fund your account again if desired.
