Which USDC should be used and where?
Securitize currently accepts USD and USDC when funding an investment or cash account. However, when transacting in USDC, it is important to make sure you are transacting with USDC from the correct blockchain.
Funding your cash account or trading account, custodied by Prime Trust:
When depositing USDC into your cash account or trading account, you will need to send USDC via the Ethereum blockchain.
Withdrawing funds from your cash account or trading account, custodied by Prime Trust:
When withdrawing USDC from your cash account or trading account, you will receive USDC via the Ethereum blockchain.
Funding an investment through Web3:
When funding an investment through our Web3 portal, you will need to send USDC via the Avalanche blockchain.
Please note, any USDC sent on the wrong blockchain may not be retrieved and will not be refunded.
